This page contains information on finding your way around when arriving in Zagreb. A map with all SSIP 2000 key locations is available here. Available means of transportation are tram, bus and taxi. Tram and bus tickets (price: 6 kn) can be purchased in every newspaper stand or onboard. Taxi service is available in airport, bus, and train terminal. If travelling by train you will arrive at main railway station. In front (north) of the railway station there are a taxi stand, and a tram station. South of the railway station is the bus station but in order to get there you would have to go through underground passage.
The simplest way to get to the hotel is to catch a bus on the bus station south of the railway station. There you can take one of the bus lines 109, 219, 220, 221, 315, 310, 330, 260. These buses will take you across the bridge over river "Sava". You have to get out of the bus on first station after you cross the bridge. From there you have to walk cca. 200m to the east to get to the Hotel Zagreb
The simplest way to get to the student hotel would be to take tram line 4 in front of the railway station in direction west. You have to get off on the 6th stop. Across the street, several hundred meters to the east lies Student Hotel Cvjetno.
The simplest way would be to catch tram line 13 (direction west) in front of the railway station, which will take you to the Faculty (9th stop). The Faculty of Electrical engineering and computing is about 100m to the east from there. If not carrying to much laguage, the Faculty can be also reached by foot, which takes cca. 15 minutes (you have to go through underground passage to the south).
From Zagreb airport there are regular bus lines that will take you to the main bus terminal in Zagreb in 25 minutes. Busses leave Zagreb airport every 30 minutes starting from 7:00 and last bus leaves at 20:00 and the one-way ticket costs 20,00 kn (3,1 USD or 5,61 DEM). You can take any bus line in direction north from bus station joust west of the hotel. You get off the bus on 2nd station and from there ride one tram station (any line) in direction west. The Faculty of Electrical engineering and computing is 100m to the west from where you get off the tram.
You can take tram line 5, west of the student hotel, in direction north. You have to get off on 5th station. The Faculty of Electrical engineering and computing is 100m to the west from there.
