The 11th International Conference on Automata and Formal Languages
is organized by the Institute of Informatics of the
University of Szeged, Hungary.
It will take place in Dobogókő which is
located at a distance of 30 kilometers
from the center of Budapest in the Pilis mountains.
Papers presenting original contributions in any area of
language and automata theory are being sought.
Topics
of interest are (but are not limited to):
grammars, acceptors and transducers for
strings, trees, graphs, arrays, etc.,
algebraic theories for automata and languages,
combinatorial properties of words and
languages, formal power series, decision problems,
efficient algorithms for automata and languages,
relations to complexity theory and
logic, picture description and
analysis, DNA computing, quantum computing,
cryptography, concurrency.
Submissions: Authors wishing to present papers are invited to submit an abstract, or extended abstract (in English; 2 - 12 pages) using the AFL'05 webpage www.inf.u-szeged.hu/afl05 Submissions are to be made by March 7, 2005.
Proceedings published by the
Institute of Informatics of the University of Szeged
will be available at the conference.
Full papers will be published after the conference in a special issue of a journal.
