1. Take the city bus to Kőbánya-Kispest railway station. (160 HUF, 30 min)
2. Change to the metro (underground, blue line: M3) and get off at Árpád
bridge (Árpád híd) [Pest side]. (160 HUF, 25 min)
3. Arriving at Árpád bridge in the underground crossing follow the "Autóbuszállomás" sign. (You should go under the metro rails).
4. Take a bus from the bus station at Árpád bridge to Dobogókő. (486 HUF, 68 min)

   Tickets for the city bus and the metro can be purchased in advance at the airport.
   Tickets for the coach service from Árpád bridge to Dobogókő must be purchased in advance at the bus station, you cannot buy tickets from the driver.
   

1. Take the Airport minibus to Árpád bridge (2300 HUF)
2. Proceed by bus to Dobogókő as in Option 1.

1. Take the city bus to Kőbánya-Kispest railway station. (160 HUF, 30 minutes).
2. Change to the metro (underground, blue line: M3) and get off at Deák
Square (Deák Tér). (15 minutes, 160 HUF)
3. Change to the red line: M2 of the metro and go to Batthyány Square (Batthyány tér) (5 minutes, 160 HUF)
4. At Batthyány Square take the suburban train (HÉV) to Pomáz (30 minutes, 270 HUF)
   
   Departure times: every 10-30 minutes.
   
   
5. From Pomáz, take a bus to Dobogókő peak (hegytető), last stop (30 minutes, 241 HUF)

   workdays: 5:20, 6:20, 7:20, 8:20, 10:20, 13:20, 15:20, 17:20, 19:30
   weekends (and 16 May): hourly from 5:20 to 18:20, and 19:30
   
   Departurte times Dobogókő -- Pomáz:
   workdays: 6:00, 7:00, 8:05, 9:05, 11:05, 14:05, 16:05,
   18:05,20:15
   weekends: hourly from 6:00 to 19:00, and 20:15
   
   Tickets for the city bus and the metro can be purchased in advance at the airport. For the 2 metro trips you can also use a metro transfer ticket (metró átszállójegy, 260 HUF), this should be validated only once, when you enter to the metro station. If you use 2 normal tickets you should validate the second one when you enter to the area of the red line. Tickets for the suburban train must be purchased in advance at the station. Tickets for the bus between Pomáz and Dobogókő are available from the driver.

1. Take the Airport minibus to Batthyány Square as above. (2300 HUF).
2. Proceed as in Option 3.

If several persons arrive at about the same time, it is worth sharing an Airport minibus to Dobogókő. In this case, you also must pay for the return cost of the minibus. The total distance is about 100 km there and back. The charge is 184 HUF/km (8 person minibus), 196 HUF/km (11 person minibus).

Travelling by car

From Vienna to Dobogókő

• Depart from Vienna [1] on the Highway Ost-Autobahn A4. See map1.
• Enter into Hungary at Nickeldorf-Hegyeshalom [2], and stay on the Highway M1 (E60)  for ca. 133 kilometers.
• At Herceghalom [3] (after leaving exit Bicske) take the exit  to Zsámbék. See map2.
• Driving through the villages Zsámbék, Tök, Perbál and Tinye on the local roads you will arrive at Piliscsaba [4]. It is about 18 kilometers from the Highway.
• At Piliscsaba [4] turn right (in the direction Pilisvörösvár, Budapest) to take National Road no. 10 for 7 kilometers. (You will go through Pilisszentiván).
• At Pilisvörösvár [5] turn left in the direction of Pilisszentkereszt,  and drive about 8,2 kilometers. (You will cross Pilisszántó).
• At Pilisszentkereszt [6] turn left in the direction of Pilisszentlélek.
• After 3,6 kilometers you will reach a crossing [7], where you can turn right to reach Dobogókő [8] after 2 kilometers.
• Hotel Nimród is located about 100 meters from the main parking lot on the top of the hill.

From Budapest to Dobogókő

• Take National Road no. 11 in the direction of Szentendre.
• After leaving Budapest at Budakalász [2] turn left in the direction of Pomáz [3], Pilisszentkereszt [4], Dobogókő[5].
• From Pilisszentkereszt [4] proceed as above. See map3.
