9.1 Introduction

In this chapter a short comparison is given about the so far discussed project management methodologies. Considering that the course shortly introduces several project management methodologies and does not discuss them in too much detail the comparison also has to be high level and rough: this section does not aimed to give a precise and deep comparison of the methodologies. Instead it gives a picture about the major differences and similarities.

The comparison follows the previous lesson, i.e. first the methodologies will be compared according to their principles, processes and tools. Afterwards, they will be compared according how they model the project in terms of scope, time, costs and others.
