The GWC 2008 Conference will be held at the University's new Study and Information Centre (http://www.u-szeged.hu/tik). The Centre provides both studying and recreation opportunities for teachers, students and visitors at the same time. The Library of the University, the Computer Room, different servicing units such as Student Union Offices, Career Office, University Café, University Book Shop, Souvenir Shop as well as the Congress Centre are designed to meet an array of various requirements.

The Congress Centre, opened in 2004, gives place to national and international conferences, university and business meetings, cultural and charity programmes, such as exhibitions or concerts as well as to receptions and banquets. The capacity of the Centre can take up to 1,300 persons at the same time, as it has a Congress Hall enough for 685 persons, 3 Lecture Halls, 3 Seminar Rooms, a Video Conference Room, and an Exhibition Area. Main technical apparatus available for each room include:

*Laptop
*Sound amplifier (with micro port and cable)
*Mobile screen (180x240 cm)
*Overhead projector
*Mobile whiteboard (90x180 cm)

There is an underground garage in the basement for 180 cars. The whole building is air-conditioned and suitable for disabled people. Below illustrations of the facilities are presented.
