Balázs Bánhelyi graduated from Radnóti Miklós Grammar
School (Szeged) in 1998 with excellent note (4.66). He
studied at the University of Szeged from 1998 to 2003. He graduated with M.Sc.
in Computer Science. The title of his MSc thesis was “Possibilities of DICOM implementation”. The
qualification of his diplom was all excellent (5.0).
Now he is a Teaching Assistant of the Informatics Institute
of the University of Szeged. His research subject is to apply verified
numerical methods as computational proofs to solve theoretical mathematical
problems. He as a first year PhD student has already completed most of the
compulsory PhD courses (6 from 8) with excellent notes. He has passed the state
English language examination on the medium level.
He has already held some talks on his
research results at national and international scientific conferences
(ICAI-2004, XXVIth Hungarian Operations Research Conference, and the Conference
of PhD Students in computer Science 2004). He was member of the Organising
Committee of the CSCS-04 conference.
