Teaching Experience

1981 - present: Held seminars for undergraduate and graduate students in programming, applications of computers, operations research and numerical analysis. Taught special courses in global optimization nonlinear programming and interval mathematics. Coordinating of thesis work and student research.

Research and Professional Experience

1988- present University of Szeged (earlier József Attila University): Interval methods for global optimization and sensitivity analysis, analytical approach to global optimization, parallel methods and transputers in optimization.
1985-1987 József Attila University: Identification of models of respiratory mechanics, parameter estimation, nonlinear and global optimization. Numerical testing of various global optimization methods, studying their efficiency and reliability.
1980-1984 József Attila University: Simulation and mathematical studying of the mathematical model of a theoretical biological system, the chemoton. Solvability of this nonlinear ODE, positivity and stability of the solutions.
