MicSim'06 - Electron microscope CTF correction program

This page contains information about MicSim'06, an electron microscope simulation and microscopic CTF correction program. Also, the page contains download links of the software.

The program is under continuous development, some functions are still not available. Frequent updates and newer versions will be uploaded in the future.

What You should know about MicSim'06

This program works only on Windows platforms. MicSim'06 has been developed on Windows XP system, but it is also tested on Windows Vista

The program assumes a system with OpenGl support.

The program prefers higher resolution (higher than 1024x768), and will automatically change the actual settings if they don't meet the requirements. The original settings are restored after the normal termination of the program.

On-line manual will be available in the future (a basic usage can be found below).

Be careful with the settings of the 3D operations (they could be very time and memory consuming). Please note, that there are no cancel buttons (a threaded version is coming)!

Bug reports and all kind of suggestions are very much appreciated! E-mail: Csernetics.Laszlo@gmail.com
