The founder and CEO of Dopti Ltd. is József Dombi, Ph.D, associate professor at the Department of Informatics at the University of Szeged, Hungary (academic activities). He has been working for the industry to solve real-life problems for 15 years. His main research activities are in the field of artificial intelligence, multi-criteria decision theory, neural networks, genetic algorithms, decision trees, theory of fuzzy sets, data mining, visualization tools and numeric analysis.

He founded and he was the former majority owner of the Cygron Ltd., where he worked together with many of his current collaborators. The DataScope data mining and data visualization software produced under their control won the European Information Technology Prize in 1997, it was investitured by the then president of the European Union in Bruxelles (Picture 1, 2). The improved version of the software rewarded in the 'Best of COMDEX' award in the personal productivity software category in Las Vegas in 1999. Since then, the Cygron is owned by American and Singaporean investigators.
