there might be not enough information in the image itself

automatic algorithms can fail or can be unacceptably slow

What to do:

1. try to construct an appropriate model and knowledge base

to compensate the missing information in the image

2. let the user do the work and help it, or let the user correct

the automatically generated result.

This means interactivity (and therefore a lot of

ergonomical consideration)
