Here you can find a dataset consisting of the texts of four BMC Bioinformatics articles, with a sentence-level annotation for speculative language. The annotation was made by Veronika Vincze, a PhD student in Linguistics at the University of Szeged. The annotation follows the standards defined by Medlock and Briscoe 2007 paper, Weakly Supervised Learning for Hedge Classification in Scientific Literature.
