Please follow carefully the instructions to authors and use the LaTeX2e or MS Word templates provided by the conference homepage during the preparation of your manuscript. All papers must be submitted in electronic form as PDF files before the submission deadline.

The papers must be in English or Hungarian. They should provide sufficient background information, clearly indicate the original contribution, state and discuss the main results, and provide adequate references.

The maximum length is 16 pages. We can only accept manuscripts typeset using LaTeX2e or MS Word according to the given templates. Please use LaTeX2e if only possible.

Step 1: Prepare a PDF version

All papers must be submitted in Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF). These submissions must be formatted to A4 page size, and in first-page-first order. Please verify that the final version of your PDF file prints correctly to a PostScript printer before submission. Documents that do not print correctly will not be considered.

In a footnote on the first page of your submission, please indicate if a major part of the submission has already been reviewed and published. Preferably submit Hungarian translation of the original material.

Also, please read the Attila Kuba Prize Rules, and if you want to participate, please indicate your participation along with your name in the footnote on the first page.

Step 2: Submit your paper via the CMT system

All papers must be submitted in PDF format using the CMT system via our web site.

Should you encounter any problem with using the submission web-site, please write an e-mail to kepaf2011@inf.u-szeged.hu.

Only the submitted paper will be published in the online proceedings. Supplementary material will not be included in the proceedings.

We prefer not to receive paper submissions by e-mail. However, if for some reason you are unable to use the submission system, please do not hesitate to contact us at kepaf2011@inf.u-szeged.hu.

Your submitted paper will be visually inspected to assure that the document is readable and meets the basic formatting requirements. If we encounter errors in your submitted file, we will contact you to resolve the issue. If your paper passes the initial inspection, it will be entered into the review process.

Step 3: The review process

All submissions will be reviewed by the Program Committee; additional reviewers will be consulted if necessary. The reviewers will be selected based on the title and abstract of your paper. The reviewers will base their advise on the full paper, which they can access within the CMT system.

When the review process is finished, you will be notified by email of the outcome for your paper(s). You will then be able to view the review reports for your papers in the CMT system.

Step 4: Final camera-ready paper submission

For preparation of the camera-ready version, please use the provided templates.

Please make sure that the length of the paper does not exceed 16 pages!

The reviewers of your paper may have pointed out small errors and omissions in your paper or have made suggestions for improvements. You are kindly requested to carefully take into account the comments of reviewers, if any, in preparing your camera ready paper.

If a major part of your paper has already been reviewed and published, then

  1. please translate your paper into Hungarian and
  2. in a footnote on the first page of your paper please acknowledge the original publication with a full bibliographic reference. For that purpose, use the \thanks LaTeX command in the \title{} of your camera ready paper as follows, e.g.:
