Balázs Erdohelyi: Surgical planning in dental implantology |
Replacing lost teeth is extremely important for both functional and
esthetical reasons. Today, dental implantation is considered to be the
most advanced solution to this problem. Careful planning and accurate
realization are essential to achieve good results. The former can be
supported by clever planning software, the later with a patient specific
drill guide. In this lecture we present the problems and solutions
related to surgical planning and the creation of surgical drill guides.
