CSCS, the Conference of PhD Students in Computer Science provides a scientific forum for PhD students
to present their ongoing research work. This year, given the international situation caused by the
covid-19 pandemic, we have no option but to adapt, so we decided to convert the conference completely
into a web-based event.
Conferences should normally facilitate interactions amongst participants, which is now a lot more difficult
since the conference will take place online. We are doing our best to enable the interaction potential of
our conference. For this reason, we asked all authors to prepare online presentations uploaded to YouTube
with unlisted video privacy setting, linked to the conference program.
The conference participants are be asked to view and possibly like the presentations.
The forum of each video is be used to facilitate discussions and manage further questions to the authors.
Session chairs coordinate the forum of each paper presentation, and rate the presentations and
forum responses to be used for best paper selection.
