Registration

Application

Students and academics should send an email to ssip@prip.tuwien.ac.at with the following information:

your name
your university
accommodation wish: none required/ single room /double room (see accommodation)
if double room, you may specify with whom you wish to share
a short statement describing how you would benefit from the summer school
a CV with grades or publications where applicable
whether you would like to present your own work at the special student session on the last day. This will be a 15 minute time slot (10 minute presentation + 5 minutes questions). Please submit a title for your presentation.

The application deadline is May 16th 2008. Notification of acceptance will be mailed out on May 19th, at which point attendees will be asked to pay the registration fee and accommodation fee through this website until May 23rd 2008. Note that the deadline for applying for a bursary is on the same day as the application deadline.

Fees

The registration fees cover the lectures, practical courses; as well as the Sunday excursion and dinner on some evenings. Note that CEEPUS scholarship holders are exempt from the registration fee.

The following are the possible amounts that you will have to pay (deadline May 23rd 2008), depending on your accommodation choice. Remember to apply for a bursary!

CEEPUS scholarship holders

If you have already been awarded a CEEPUS scholarship to attend the summer school, please mention this in your registration e-mail. It is also then not necessary to include the short statement and CV. Note that CEEPUS scholarship holders are exempt from paying the registration fee. CEEPUS scholarship holders should pay the accomodation fee at the summer school.
