Biometric Recognition

A reliable and relatively fast method of identification is via the use of biometric systems. In General the following biometric features are used: signature, iris, retina, face, facial thermograms, fingerprints, hand geometry, palmprint, gait, voiceprint.

Research Area

My research objectives in the field of Biometric Recognition are:

- the application of Kernel-based feature extraction methods to Biometric recognition
- the application of other Kernel-based methods to this
