The 28th Summer School on Image Processing (SSIP) will be held online between 13th July – 18th July 2020, Szeged, Hungary due to the pandemic. In this year the lectures and team works will be done using online streaming collaboration tools. More details will be published soon.

We were succeeded to have well know experts to present very interesting lectures for the participant students. The planned program can be found here. The official language of the SSIP 2020 is English.

We reduced the duration of the SSIP 2020 to 5 working days (Monday to Friday). During the summer school short team works should be completed with deadlines. To complete these tasks some preliminary knowledge will be assumed (e.g. Phyton, OpenCV, Matlab, etc.). All tools are optional and using them on your own responsibility in terms of copyrights. The projects will be evaluated, and the best one will be highlighted.

There is no registration fee at all, but registration is required for all participants. Please provide us with a few details about yourself and your institution, so that we can plan for the attendance.

Last day we would like to give a possibility to student participants to present their scientific work in short (20 minutes) online lectures. The students who would like to take the opportunity need to have tools for their presentation (webcam, software tool). We would finish the summer school with online test.

Students will receive a certificate of attending the Summer School and passing the exam. This Summer School is accepted as a special PhD course by several Universities. Information can be obtained by your supervisor.

Should you have any questions or comments, do not hesitate to contact the organizers.

We hope to see you at online SSIP 2020 in Szeged.
