Call for short papers

Topics of interest

All aspects of computer science and related fields, including theory and applications, e.g. algorithms and data structures, artificial intelligence, automata and formal languages, complexity theory, databases, fuzzy theory, image processing, optimization, and software engineering.

CSCS will provide a forum for the

  • presentation of the latest research and developments in theory, algorithms, and applications of computer science,
  • reporting of interesting case studies in industrial and scientific applications of computer science,
  • demonstration of software for computer science.

Format

  • A few plenary sessions for invited talks (50 minutes).
  • Parallel sessions for contributions (20 minutes).

Submissions

Authors are invited to submit a short paper (in English, maximum 4 pages) electronically via EasyCair.

Publications

  • A volume of short papers - available at the beginning of the conference. Each paper will be reviewed before the acceptance.
  • Selected papers will be invited to be submitted as full papers to a special issue of the Acta Cybernetica journal.

Important Dates

March 16 March 31, 2018 (EXTENDED) - Deadline for short paper submissions.
April 30 May 10, 2018 - Notification on acceptance of the talks.
May 20 May 25, 2018 - Deadline for the conference registration and camera ready submission.
June 25, 2018 - CSCS starts.
September 15, 2018 - Deadline for the submission of the full papers.
