Objective

This section is to describe some Agile alternatives to Scrum. These various Agile methodologies share the same philosophy, have common characteristics and practices but differs in implementation, terminology and focus points.

Depending on the roles of the project, skill-set of team members, geographical distribution of the team, some might be a better fit to choose than using pure Scrum. The overview given here helps to make the choice on which methodology to use on a given project.

This lesson discusses agile techniques in more detail. Moreover, one of the agile frameworks is presented in detail as well.
